The embed builder is a full Discord-embed composer with a live preview on the right. You can send an embed immediately, schedule it for later, or save its configuration as a preset to reuse. Open Dashboard → Embed Builder.

Building an embed

Every Discord embed field is available in the editor:

Author name, author icon, author URL
text
Optional line above the title.

Title
text (256 chars max)
Bold heading at the top of the embed.

Title URL
URL
Makes the title a clickable link.

Description
textarea (4096 chars max)
Body text. Supports Discord markdown (**bold**, *italic*, ~~strike~~) and @role / #channel highlighting. Placeholder chips above the field insert {user}, {server}, etc. at the cursor.

Color
color picker
Left-border color of the embed.

Thumbnail, image
URL or library picker
Small image top-right (thumbnail) and large image at the bottom. Paste a URL or pick from your server’s image library.

Fields
list of name + value pairs
Up to 25 inline or block fields. Each field has its own character counters.

Footer text, footer icon
text + URL
Small text at the bottom.

Timestamp
toggle
Adds the current time next to the footer.

Plain content above the embed
textarea (2000 chars max)
Message text that appears above the embed. This is required if you want to ping a role or user — mentions inside the embed are decorative only.

Sending

At the bottom of the page:

Where the embed will be posted.

Posts the embed immediately.

Clear All
action
Wipes the editor. No confirmation, so make sure you don’t need the current contents.

Custom name & avatar

Unlocked by Booster or Premium. Free members can unlock it temporarily by voting on Top.gg.
By default the bot posts the message under its own name and avatar. Turn on Custom Name & Avatar to send the same message and embed through a Discord webhook under an identity you choose — handy for announcements, personas, or on-brand posts. Tap View sample to see an example.

Enable Custom Name & Avatar

When on, this send (immediate or scheduled) goes out through a webhook with your custom name and avatar instead of the bot’s. It applies to that send only — nothing is saved, and it isn’t stored in presets.

Custom Name
text (80 chars max)
The name shown on the message. Discord doesn’t allow names containing “discord” or “clyde”.

Avatar Image
URL or library picker
The avatar shown on the message. Paste a direct image link or pick from your server’s image library. Leave the name or avatar blank to keep the bot’s default for that part.
To use this, the bot needs the Manage Webhooks permission — enable it in Server Settings → Roles → RBX ToolBot → Permissions (or re-invite the bot). Without it the send fails with a message telling you which permission to grant. Leave this option off to send the embed normally.

Unlock with a Top.gg vote

Don’t have Premium? Click Vote on Top.gg on the card to unlock Custom Name & Avatar for 24 hours. You can vote again every 24 hours to keep it unlocked. The card shows the time remaining while the unlock is active. This is the same vote used by the UGC Scanner — a single vote unlocks both. The unlock is tied to your Discord account, so it applies on every server you manage.

Live preview

The right side of the page shows the embed exactly as it will appear in Discord, updating on every keystroke. Use it to check spacing, line wrapping, and how markdown renders before sending.

Scheduling

Toggle Schedule this message to post at a specific future time instead of now. Pick a date, time, and optional recurrence (one-off, daily, weekly, monthly). Scheduled embeds are listed at the bottom of the page — you can edit the time or cancel them before they fire.

Presets

The Fill from Preset bar at the top lets you save the current embed configuration under a name and reload it later. Good for repeatable announcements (weekly updates, event reminders, welcome banners).
  • Save as Preset stores the current editor contents.
  • Fill replaces the editor with the selected preset’s content.
  • × deletes the selected preset.
